Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2026-10-12 · Effective October 12, 2026
What you may not do with Kyrolane. This policy is part of the Terms of Service and the Partner Terms.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to job seekers under the Terms of Service and to agencies under the Partner Terms. If a rule here is stricter than a product screen, this policy still applies.
Expected use
- Search and save roles, tailor materials, and send applications you have reviewed, from a mailbox you control.
- Agencies may store candidates they have a right to store, and email people when they have a lawful basis.
- Turn on optional tools, such as follow-ups, open tracking, or the talent pool, only when you mean to.
Do not
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or deceptive messages.
- Break CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, PECR, or other anti-spam or privacy laws that apply to your recipients.
- Ignore an unsubscribe or a directory opt-out.
- Harass, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate.
- Impersonate another person or hide who is sending.
- Upload forged documents or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Scrape private social graphs, bypass access controls, or collect data you have no right to use.
- Probe, overload, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows.
- Resell, sublicense, or republish Service output as a standalone contact database or lead list.
- Use the Service for a purpose prohibited by sanctions or export law.
- Upload special-category data, such as health or government identifiers, into the Partner Portal.
Email in particular
Job seekers approve each application. A suggested address can still be wrong or inappropriate to contact. You choose the recipient.
Agencies must keep the compliance footer the product adds, including the postal address, the unsubscribe link, and the automated-matching line. Recruiter Assistant will not send until a person approves the message.
Pattern-guessed addresses and Hunter or Apollo results alone are not a sufficient basis for Kyrolane sales mail or an agency pitch. They can still appear as a suggestion for a job seeker’s own application.
If this policy is broken
We may remove content, suspend sending, or close an account or organization. We will tell you when we reasonably can. Report abuse to info@kyrolane.com.
