Claude

  1. 1Sign in to Kyrolane in this browser.
  2. 2In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector.
  3. 3Name it Kyrolane and paste https://www.kyrolane.com/api/mcp.
  4. 4Approve the consent screen: Allow Claude to access your Kyrolane account.
  5. 5Ask Claude to match jobs or draft an application. Review and send the letter from your own mailbox in Kyrolane.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Sign in to Kyrolane.
  2. 2In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps or Connectors, and add a custom MCP server.
  3. 3Use the server URL https://www.kyrolane.com/api/mcp.
  4. 4Complete the Kyrolane consent screen and keep only the scopes you want.
  5. 5ChatGPT can then look up one hiring contact at a time. That lookup uses your plan quota.

Cursor

  1. 1Open Cursor Settings, then MCP.
  2. 2Add a remote server named Kyrolane.
  3. 3Set the URL to https://www.kyrolane.com/api/mcp. Cursor starts the same OAuth consent flow.
  4. 4Or create a personal API token in Kyrolane Settings → Assistants and send it as a bearer token.
  5. 5Disconnect the client or revoke the token in Settings. Access stops on the next request.

You stay in control

  • OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Tokens expire and refresh tokens rotate.
  • Scopes are read:jobs, read:contacts, write:drafts, and read:applications.
  • Disconnect a client or revoke a personal token in Settings. It stops immediately.
  • Data goes only to the assistant you connect. That provider’s own terms apply after the response leaves Kyrolane.

Agency tools for searching candidates and job orders are available only to a signed-in member of that organization. They never read another agency’s roster.

Frequently asked questions

Does the assistant send the application?
No. draft_application saves a letter in Kyrolane and returns a link. You review it and send from your own mailbox.
Can an assistant export every hiring contact?
No. find_hiring_contact accepts one job at a time, is rate limited, and counts against the contact lookup quota on your plan.
Where do I disconnect an assistant?
Settings, then Assistants. Disconnecting an OAuth client or revoking a personal token takes effect on the next request.
