Terms governing use of Kyrolane: acceptable use, your email compliance responsibilities, subscriptions, and liability limits.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kyrolane at https://www.kyrolane.com and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
What the Service provides
Kyrolane is a productivity workspace for job search and, where enabled, compliant B2B outreach. The Service helps you discover publicly listed jobs, draft applications, suggest professional apply-to contacts, and send email from accounts you control.
Kyrolane is not an employer, recruiter, job board publisher, email service provider of record, or data broker. We do not guarantee interviews, hires, replies, or deliverability.
Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or legal risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, spam, phishing, malware, or deceptive messages.
- Violate CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, PIPEDA, or other anti-spam or privacy laws.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person.
- Scrape private profiles, bypass platform access controls, or collect data you do not have rights to use.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Upload false credentials, forged documents, or content that infringes intellectual property.
- Reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service or third-party systems.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Service output as a standalone contact database or lead list.
Email and outreach responsibility
You control what sends. Kyrolane may suggest recipients and draft content, but you review and approve outbound messages unless you explicitly enable automation you configure.
You are solely responsible for compliance with laws governing email, marketing, and employment outreach in every jurisdiction where your recipients are located.
You must honor opt-out requests promptly, use accurate subject lines and sender identity, and include legally required disclosures (such as a physical address where CAN-SPAM applies).
Messages are sent from mailboxes and SMTP accounts you connect. Your sending reputation and deliverability are your responsibility.
Job listings and contact suggestions
Job listings and apply-to suggestions are compiled from public sources, licensed job data providers, Kyrolane’s email-intelligence pipeline, and optional third-party lookup tools you may connect.
Kyrolane does not guarantee that a suggested contact is correct, current, authorized to receive applications, or legally contactable in your jurisdiction.
If a professional requests removal from our hiring-contact directory, we will process verified opt-out requests as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI-generated content
Draft cover letters, emails, and other AI outputs may contain errors or omissions. You must review all AI-generated content for accuracy and suitability before sending or relying on it.
You are responsible for ensuring application materials truthfully represent your qualifications and experience.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties such as Google, Microsoft, Stripe, licensed job data providers, optional AI and email lookup services you configure, and your email provider. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies.
Kyrolane is not responsible for third-party outages, pricing changes, API limits, or policy enforcement by those providers.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew according to the billing interval shown at checkout unless canceled. Fees are processed by Stripe.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. You may cancel future renewals in account settings or via Stripe customer portal where available.
Intellectual property
Kyrolane owns the Service, branding, and underlying software. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as your resume) and grant Kyrolane a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.
You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KYROLANE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kyrolane from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your outbound communications, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Delete your account in Settings for permanent removal of your workspace data, or contact us for help.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by nature should survive termination (including acceptable use, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
