Getting started

Partner quickstart

From a signed inquiry to the first candidate sent. Create nothing yourself — Kyrolane opens the organization, then you connect email and add candidates.

3 min read

This path assumes a contract or inquiry is already in motion. The portal is not self-serve.

  1. Request access. Use the inquiry form on /partners. A Kyrolane administrator creates the organization under Admin → Placement organizations and adds your email as a member.

  2. Open /partner. Sign in with that email. /partners only shows the marketing page.

  3. Confirm you landed in the portal. A valid license and an active membership load the dashboard. The other two screens are covered below.

  4. Add the rest of the team. Ask Kyrolane to invite them. Seats are capped by the license. Partner Shared is $999/mo and includes 5 seats. Partner Private is $2,499/mo starting and includes 25 seats.

  5. Connect email. An Admin opens Settings → Branding & email. Branding holds the logo and signature. Email holds SMTP. Send a test message before the first pitch.

  6. Add a candidate. On Candidates, use Add candidate (name and email) or Import CSV. Open the profile, upload a resume, and assign a coach.

  7. Send the first pitch. Match the candidate to a role and send the intro from the organization inbox. Employer replies return to that mailbox.

If you see Access denied

The heading is “This account is not on a placement team.” You are signed in, but that login is not an active member of an organization. Ask a Kyrolane administrator to add the same email under Admin → Placement organizations, then open /partner again. Request access from that screen goes to /partners#inquiry.

Placeholder only. The live screen names the signed-in email and links back to the workspace or the inquiry form.

If you see License inactive

The organization exists, but the license is expired, suspended, or the organization is paused or deleted. The portal pages behind the shell do not load. The message tells you whether to renew or contact support. If you belong to another organization, switch to it on that screen. Details are in Plans and licenses.

Mailbox rules that matter on day one

On the Email tab, enter the SMTP host, port, inbox, and password. Provider guides on that page can fill the host and port. If the organization already has a Google or Microsoft OAuth mailbox and no SMTP password is saved, sending uses OAuth. When both exist, SMTP wins.

The test send confirms the mailbox before a candidate pitch goes out. Logo, name, title, and signature live on the Branding tab and show on intro pitches and shared profiles.

CSV import

Import CSV on the Candidates page accepts up to 500 rows. Name and email are required. Download the template from the dialog, preview the rows, then import. assignee_email assigns a coach. To record a past placement on the same row, set both client_name and position. Setting only one of them is rejected.

Placeholder frame for the CSV import dialog. Do not paste a real roster into docs.
