Tools, scopes, and limits
Reference for every Kyrolane MCP tool, the scope each one needs, which are agency-only, and how rate limiting works.
Scopes
| Scope | What it allows |
|---|---|
read:jobs | See roles ranked against the resume on your account. |
read:contacts | Look up one hiring contact at a time. Each lookup counts against your plan. |
write:drafts | Draft a cover letter in Kyrolane. Nothing is sent. |
read:applications | Read the applications already on your account. |
Job seeker tools
| Tool | Scope | What it does |
|---|---|---|
match_jobs | read:jobs | Ranks open roles against your resume. Returns title, company, location, match score, a short reason, and the job URL. At most 10 roles. |
find_hiring_contact | read:contacts | Looks up one hiring contact for a single job. Returns name, role, email, and Confirmed or Unverified. Counts against your quota. |
draft_application | write:drafts | Drafts a cover letter subject and body for one job, saves it in Kyrolane, and returns a link to review and send. Does not send email. |
list_applications | read:applications | Lists your applications, with an optional status filter. |
get_application | read:applications | Reads one of your applications. |
get_profile_summary | none | Returns your plan name, remaining quota, and whether a resume is on file. Never returns resume text. |
Agency tools
Available when the signed-in account is an active member of a partner organization. Each one reads only that organization.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
search_candidates | Searches candidates in your organization. |
match_candidates_to_job | Scores your organization’s candidates against one of its job orders. |
list_job_orders | Lists open job orders for your organization. |
list_clients | Lists client companies for your organization. |
Rate limits
Requests are rate-limited per account and per token to keep the service reliable. Hiring contact lookups and application drafts have tighter limits than read-only tools. When a limit is hit, the tool returns an error that says when to try again.
Logging
Kyrolane keeps an audit record of tool calls. Payloads, emails, and tool arguments are dropped from that record.
