Matching

How Kyrolane matches candidates to roles, what moderate and strong matches mean, and what you need on a profile before matches appear.

On this page

Matching scores a candidate against a role from the skills, titles, and experience on the candidate profile and the role’s requirements. The same engine powers candidate feeds, client opportunity boards, and the Recruiter Assistant.

Moderate and strong matches

Kyrolane labels matches as moderate or strong.

LabelWhere it shows
ModerateCandidate feeds and client opportunity boards
StrongPrioritized in sorting and dashboard alerts

Weaker fits stay hidden from feeds. On a client page you can still browse all open roles and pitch manually.

Why this match

Each match carries a short reason so a recruiter can judge the fit before pitching. Read it before you send. A score is a starting point, not a decision.

Getting better matches

  • Upload a current resume and confirm the parsed skills.
  • Add preferred job titles and seniority on the candidate.
  • Register the client so its careers page is scanned and roles stay fresh.

FAQ

Why does a candidate have no matches?

Matching needs a resume with skills or preferred job titles on the profile. Add either one, then check again.

Can location or salary alone make a match?

No. Location, salary, or defaults alone are not enough for a role to count as a match. Skills and titles have to overlap.

Does matching use AI?

Yes. Kyrolane uses AI-assisted matching that compares skills, titles, and experience, and it improves over time as profiles and roles get richer.
